• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I went to high school with him, had uncountable good times, and laughs with him... just saw him a few days ago... Can't believe hes gone! RIP Luis "Lucho" Estrada!

And to those who are wondering, and I know there are a few of you... he wasnt some punk "gangter" teen just out looking for trouble or involved in crime... just a really cool guy who always made everyone laugh no matter how sad, angry, depressed etc you where...

Here is the article and news video clip:

A 19-year-old man died today after an early-morning stabbing at a Mississauga strip club.

Police were called to Kennedy’s, on Kennedy Rd. in the Hwy. 410 and Hwy. 403 area, just before 2 a.m.

Police found Brampton resident Luis Estrada-Lemmon in the club’s rear parking lot severely beaten, with multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital but later died.

Police are still searching for clues and piecing together Estrada-Lemmon’s last hours.

“We are still trying to determine ultimately what happened,” says Peel police Const. Adam Minnion. “The autopsy for his body will likely take place on Monday.”

A mobile command post was set up on the scene to help canvass the neighbourhood for witnesses.

Police have no suspect information, and ask witnesses to contact them.
