Why are they using VHF-High band when the TVTRS is on 700/800 mhz?The state of Tennessee, has applied for their first VHF-High band Troopnet trunking site. Also, the State is reportedly erecting a new tower on Keith Springs mountain (near Winchester) in Franklin County, Tennessee, that is to be part of the Tennessee Valley system and is supposed to be operational by the end of October. Is there any information about this from the FCC applications or licenses?
