• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Wish I could have voted for more than one item. I would love to see the T updated to handle 500 channels and UID.

yep an happy that improvements are made
but I need MDC1200 more than a Turnking ID, mototurbo
the band scope is poor IMHO the AOR has it and lets you hear the channel with the scope and the exact freq
could use more group quick keys
I agree, I'd like to have MDC1200 also to ID or mute the quacks from the digital ducks :D

You can HOLD on the center frequency and Func+Scroll up and down the band to hear the audio, not the same, but it works. I like the UID to be able to identify those individuals that don't really use a unit number, you know, those stealthy ones.
