The HF radio is a mint Yaesu FT990. I run the IF tap out for SDR receive and panadapter display. Current scanner is a Bearcat BC895XLT I use for air band and local ham repeaters. Have a Grecom PSR-310 on the while to carry around. Antennas are a Cushcraft A3S and Alpha Delta BX-B sloper for the HF bands and a discone on the chimney for the scanner. The LED strip lighting is from China, eBay less than $20 for four 1m strips, including shipping.

Will be moving the shack into a new room in a couple of months so looking forward to a few rearrangements.

Thanks for all the comments. The big antenna is a Cushcraft A3S. It's got a 14' boom. I use it on the HF frequencies, and the wire antenna is an Alpha-Delta DX-B for the lower frequencies. For VHF/UHF monitoring I am currently just using a discone on the chimney (no pic yet!) but plan to put something bigger up above the A3S.

The Bearcat BC895XLT has been replaced with a Grecom PSR-410. Still learning all the tricks on this one.

The LED lighting doesn't cause any interference that I've noticed. It isn't as blue as the picture shows, it doesn't flood that much of the desk. I run it from a little 9V adapter with a toggle switch mounted on the desk.

Over the winter I will has to take the shack apart as I'm working on a separate room to move it in to. Nice thing is I'll get to design it to be functional and put lighting where I want it. Looking forward to spending a long winter in the shack!
