you meant 137-174

Tons out there, Police, Fire, DPW, EMS, Aircraft, Milair etc
what type of radio ? as most PD/FD are now P25 in that region

Also update your RR Profile, that way folks won't have to ask where are you from

+3 on using the search feature on your scanner and looking for frequencies for your area in the Radio Reference database.

What radio are you using? If it's not a digital scanner, you will not be able to monitor any frequencies listed as P25 (or NXDN, DMR, MotTrbo, etc) in the database. Encrypted frequencies, marked with an "E", cannot be monitored on any scanner. (A small "e" next to a frequency means partially encrypted, so you will hear some communications in the clear). We can tell you if your scanner is digital if you provide the manufacturer/model number.

Best to scan between those frequencies. RR doesn’t have all frequencies in the database. If you find one not in the database, send in to RR for it to be added. Good luck
