I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but according to this site, Calhoun, Tn. police use frequency 155.300. My Pro-97 says it's a duplicate of 155.295.
155.300 isn't a valid frequency on the Pro-97 so 155.295 is the closest that it can get do. Receiving the frequency on the .295 really won't make a difference.

This thread had me look at the data the OP was asking about.
Both the 155.3000 and 156.1950 frequencies showing for Calhoun in McMinn county are unsupported by license information. A search of the FCC database (geographically with a span of frequencies) shows that there are no licenses issued for anything even close to these two frequencies for any entity in any service. A further look at the submission (which was from November 2004) shows that is was submitted by a user that only made one submission (that one) and has never posted (indeed never even visited) the forums.
I suspect that unless our OP can verify that Calhoun PD uses radios on anything close to this that the information was false to begin with. It is either that or the radio shop/tech that services their equipment needs some refresher course/testing.

I didn't program in 155.300 because 155.295 is the Chattanooga/Hamilton County Rescue Squad. I heard them on that frequency this morning. I just now programmed in 156.195, but my computer interferes with it, so I've locked it out temporarily. Scan Chattanooga lists neither frequency.
