Games Route Network.
They're cars that are being dedicated exclusivly to the PanAm games. They'll be charged with making sure the routes are clear. They're also going to be the cars that will ticket people who are driving in the temporary HOV lanes being established all over.
They've got their own dedicated talkgroup, but of course it can't be monitored.

I also looked inside and noticed there was no radio,it looked liked it was removed and no PWS, just the box for sirens & Lights.

Im not sure whats worse, the fact that the upfitter installed the panel upside down so the sticker is showing outwards, the super complicated light and siren controller that looks like its from the 80s, the cracked rear bumper or the self tapper screws that ruined the side rails of the console.....instead of using the smaller screws the console would come with....
The consoles are reused and what not - I'm not surprised they've lost screws.

I would hazard a guess after the games these cars will go to auction and as for no radio, the portables will work fine with the new system their signal strength is very strong...
I install them regularly, you can get new side rails for like 10 dollars with a new set of screws
