Hello Coloradans.
I will be traveling to Denver to attend a graduation.
I will be staying in Englewood. So, I could use some advice from a local.
1. What trunked site, or simulcast site best covers the Englewood area?
2. What police & fire talk groups are used in the Englewood area?
3. What mode is used? Edacs or Motorola?
4. Any custom trunking tables required?

I live in Salt Lake County, Utah, where I can count about 17 different police agencies.
I have to program my scanners so I can select areas of the county.

I use a Radio Shack Pro 164 hand held and a Whistler WS1040 hand held digital.

Hello Mike.

You'll want to load the state DTRS P25 system:
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=329

Englewood PD (TG 3075) is reliably on sites 1-20 & 1-64.

The neighboring city of Littleton PD (TG 3040) is reliably on sites 1-52 & 1-64.

Both of those cities are in Arapahoe County, so you may want to add Arapahoe Sheriff (TG 3001).

Denver is in transition, so depending how soon you'll be here, it may not be listenable.

I'll leave the Fire info for someone else.

Regards,
Josh

In addition to what Josh mentioned, Englewood can also be heard on the DTRS admin site 1-001. Englewood contracts fire services to Denver Fire (whole thread on that in the Colorado Forums)

Unless your in the Eastern side of Englewood (DTC) that's addressed Englewood but mostly receives it's fire and Ems from South Metro, just to confuse matters.
