I am in the process of updating and streamlining the Florida railroads section. The information on Tri-Rail and SunRail seems to be out of date or incomplete.

Please look at Florida Railroads Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference , especially Tri-Rail.

Specifically for Tri-Rail, where are the two road channels used? North/South? Dispatcher? Whats the talkaround (which eludes to a repeater being used).

They have been in the DB for a bit, and just doesn't look right.

Thanks!

Tri-Rail, a.k.a. the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority, (SFRTA) operates from West Palm Beach down to Miami. Their communications are kept separate from CSX. SFRTA uses 161.475 for their road channel. For the dispatcher channel, they use 160.260. If you travel north of West Palm Beach back into CSX territory, AFAIK they still use 161.100 for road and 161.520 for the dispatcher.

SFRTA is licensed on these frequencies:
160.230 AAR CH. 08
160.260 AAR CH. 10 - Dispatcher
161.325 AAR CH. 81
161.340 AAR CH. 82
161.355 AAR CH. 83
161.460 AAR CH. 90
161.475 AAR CH. 91 - Road
161.490 AAR CH. 92

I don't know what the other channels are used for; I have only heard activity on AAR 10 and 91.
