Does anybody know what the actual radio system that is used by the Transit Police use? I realize that the Transit Dept. hires Beaverton, Hillsboro, Portland, Gresham Police Officers, to name a few, but do these officers use their own Department communications when working for the Transit Police or do they use their own Transit police system. If you take a look at the new 700Mhz system or the Portland Tri-met 800Mhz system their isn't any showing of Police Talk groups at all, which leads me to think that they probably use there own Dept. talk groups and gain information from that. Correct me if I am wrong but that seems to be what is going on. Maybe they are using the old Nextel or Sprint type of communications. If anybody could Clarify, that would ne helpful.
