Hey I have a question about how far you can hear Troop C Talk Back

1616 065 D 33 C-DISP Troop C - Dispatch
1648 067 D 34 C-CAR Troop C - Car to Car

how far east,west,north and south can I pick up Troop C on my scanner in CT? Can anyone help me out. like If I go to Westerly RI woudl i be able to pick up? whats the coverage area to get it in?

Only if a radio is affialted to a site that is close to you. There is no clear answer to this question.

If a cruiser in Greenwich puts their radio on Troop C's channel, you will hear Troop C in that area. If that radio is turned off, it will unregister and you will no longer hear Troop C, assuming no other radios are on Troop C's TG in that area.

I think you're asking about area coverage of certain control channels, whether you can pickup the Troop C site from RI... ?
only good way to find out is to drive that way and see the reception.

affiliation is related to hearing certain troops/TGs on diff. sites.
