Troop G

I am having trouble programming my scanner so I am looking for a program that will help me do it. I am mainly looking for all the data for CSP Troop G. I get dispatch but I do not know what to enter for the “Car to Car”. In addition, does anyone know what I need to program into the scanner to be able to hear Trooper 1 and Life Star?

For talkgroups, you need the Statewide and Western District at a minimum.

Trooper One can be heard on Statewide Common One (talkgroup 16016). LifeStar isn't part of CSP so that will need to be setup seperately.

I have a Uniden BC250 and I just got ARC250 from BuTel. WOW works great.

The problem now is I see there are "TalkGroups". But how do I add them into my scanner? Thats where I am getting confused.

I've never used a 250 before so I can't help you, but the manual seems to have some clear instructions starting on page 48. I would guess that ARC250 has some sort of online help or printable user manual as well.

Ok great. I guess i am getting confused is on the website it says "DEC HEX Mode" and I am not sure where to enter those. In the program it asks for "ID and TAG".
