Hello all,

I was able to setup Trunking Recorder and connected it to Unitrunker that is monitoring a Smartnet system using a single RTL2832 stick. I see the talkgroups reflect my receiver status on Unitrunker, but I do not see Trunking Recorder is actively recording anything. Is there a "record now" button somewhere?

In other words, I'm not seeing where I can enable the little red record dot on the left side of my configuration.

Thank you

At least you can it to work. I can’t get it to work on v2. I have a feeling I’m doing something wrong(lol) but I can’t find any tutorials on YouTube to help

You need to configure the Voice receiver in Trunking Recorder to match your setup in Unitrunker.
From the Trunking Recorder "Configuration" menu choose the "Recording" tab. Since you have Unitrunker data showing on the main Trunking Recorder screen you should be able to click the "Load default recorders" button and it should create a new Voice Receiver with the correct model/label and VCO number.
You will need to select the correct Virtual Audio Cable to record. This should be the VAC Unitrunker is outputting audio to.
Once set click save and Trunking Recorder should start recording calls once you have clicked the "Start Recording" button on the main screen. If you still have trouble post a screenshot of your Trunking Recorder "Recording" tab.

Close trunking recorder
Go to
Scroll to the bottom, download UniLogger 1.5 to a new folder on your desktop. Unzip it, copy the file Remote.dll, go to system drive "C" ,users, app data, folder with your user name, inside should be a folder Unitrunker, open it and paste the dll in it.

Make sure your VFO label name and audio output in unitrunker match what you put in trunking recorder, with unitrunker 2, you do not need to change the VCO# leave at 0

Got it working now, turns out it was the VCO wasn't set to the correct one.
Thank you all
