and blue, too - those are alternates. You never know when a system might use one of them

If it's an EDACS system you have to enter all of the frequencies for a single location, and in the order they are specified. You might have to do the same for a P25 system, but for Motorola systems you only need the control frequencies (and the alternate control freqs too).

You enter the freqs. in the LCN - Logical Channel Number. "In order" to most people means 1, 2, 3 etc. They could be 1, 7, 8, 12, etc. as determined by the system programmer.
