Trunking Software

I have heard about the UNI-Trunker software but I am not too familiar with it. I know it can decode a P-25 Trunk system but unsure how it all works.

How much is the software? Can I use the software with my Uniden 796? What sort of computer should I use? What sort of connection do I need? I have Windows 98 on one computer and Windows XP on another.

I am new to this whole software thing but thought I would ask to see if someone had some idea's or can help.

UniTrunker (and the like) are occasionally mentioned here, but really this forum is for scanner programming and control software. UniTrunker (and the like) are really decoding software packages and indeed we have a whole forum dedicated to that subject.

I am going to close your thread, and suggest that you read through some of the topics in the Trunker/Etrunker/Unitrunker Decoders forum.
