I managed to get rid of the Sites scrolling by unchecking "set Location" but now is am getting Scanlists scrolling.. Does it actually scan these even if they are empty??
How do I get rid of the scanlist scrolling???

Turn them off, if they are showing they are turned on. Go to EZ Scan and uncheck unused scan lists

I think I will try and pull the frequencies from those groups I use into another scan list and then turn all of these off. Then it won't waste time scanning objects I'm not interested in.

I have only had the scanner 3 days so I still have a lot to learn!

Looks like you programmed by frequency types which are the higher numbered scanlists. That may have activated the lists in the 150-200 range. You should label the scan lists with what you put into them by clicking on the scanlist name in the general settings tab and chnging the name.

You might also find it easier to use the PREFERRED method for programming, to give you better control over what exactly you add to each scanlist.

Check on the Advanced tab in the upper right corner. Make sure the setting in the Scan Sets area at the top is set to "Scan Sets Require Scan List to be Enabled" The other option will turn on all scan lists by default.
