First - make sure Scanner Playlist matches the EZ scan Playlist, whatever you are using (County/City) or System.
then, Plug in your Scanner, and Launch EZ scan, you should Update the EZ scan Library.
then allow the Scanner to Update your SD card.
then go to Library Import and ONLY check off Catagories you want to Scan, such as PD, Fire, EMS but leave services Public Works and Utlities unchecked.
then, Set Your Location, such as USA, State, and County/City, do not use Zip its a waste of time.
Import your favorite Citys and County you want to scan. Once you have finished Importing, you are now Ready to Program the Scanner.
Select Menu , then scroll down to Browse Library, select USA/State/ then select Counties/City, enter County, then go through Agency, Catagories and Systems. keeping in mind PD may appear in Both as a Category (Analog) or Systems (P25), when you Select Systems you are Presented with Sites and Catagories, here you can Select Transmitter Sites if you know the Location. and Catagories will be Items like PD, Fire EMS for each County Alphabetized. be careful as they will combine PD and Sanitation/Dog Catcher in each County Folder, so just be aware you might have to Scroll Down to get ALL the PD channels. Once you have Checked off all you want to Scan, press Menu then Import Selected , then Select the Playlist you want the Channels in. Once you have finished Programing its a good idea to Back up your data, select that on the EZ scan menu.
