TRX-2 "refurb" acting up again code 3-03

Received a TRX-2 "refurb" that was more like a scratch and dent back in February during the Flash Sale. Had issues, including cruddy, dirty contacts on the included SD card. Bought a good quality SD card and formatted it and programmed from laptop.

Had the scanner on local PD RAS enabled system decoding, sitting in same spot for last two weeks. Never moved it or turned it off. It is providing a live stream on Broadcastify.

Today I enabled the local county phase 1 P25 system (enabled scan list 1 and disabled scan list 5). Now scanner scans the TRS and receives a transmission then locks up after it resumes scan. It times out with error code 3-03 00004580 0001.

To say, NOT a happy camper. Should have sent it back when I first found the scratch on display and dirty case.

That is a memory card issue, buy a Sandisk 8gb, class 4 micro sd w/adapter from Amazon for less then $9 shipped with prime.

It probably still has dirt on the contacts to the SD card as it cannot access the SD card and times out.
I would try a tissue with alcohol or contact cleaner and wrap around a piece of cardboard and stick in the SD slot a couple of times.

Or ask Wendy to exchange the TRX-2 with another one as soon as a "real" refurbed one comes available.

Just got done doing my daily check on te rerfurb site and it shows a 90 day warranty, so if ya cant get it to work send it back soon before ya run out of time.
