Anyone in Monroe county using the trx-2 . I’m able to listen to simulcast outside the county . I’m wondering if the scanner works within the county closer to say Rochester NY

From my experience with a TRX-1 it all depends on location. OK if near a tower but very poor in any location with multipath signals.

must be why I have good coverage with the trx-2 . I’m in Livonia with looks like only one tower for Livingston county . If I read the tower map correctly

There are multiple towers for the Livingston system, but if you are in Livonia, you are probably close enough to Jakman Hill tower so that signal predominates at your location.
