You won't be able to get trunking system details other than it is only licensed for analog (not digital). So it is probably a Type II system, Edacs system, or even possibly an analog LTR. Beyond that the next step is to monitor the frequencies and see if there is a control channel and what type of system it decodes. You won't find the System ID or type of system in the FCC listing.

There was no dedicated CCs that I could tell, it's just a bunch of dead-keys in conventional mode, an occasional data burst of sorts like once every 10-15 mins, I'm using a Uniden BCD306XT, if that helps figure how to program it so I can determine what's going on.

If you mean you hear momentary key-up's on the various frequencies (randomly) then it is probably an LTR system. There is no specific "data" channel on an LTR system. But if you aren't hearing any voice traffic maybe the system just isn't being used anymore.

I noticed that the license expires in 2019 and a renewal reminder was already sent out from the FCC. The company itself has several other active licenses for other locations. One of them is for DMR. It could be that the company is converting and they have already gone digital ahead of their renewal.

If you are within range I'd suggest you do a search on the company name and pull up all of their licenses and associated frequencies. Try plugging them to see if you hear any new voice traffic or digital transmission sounds.

Analog LTR system

I'm trying to determine the TSYS details [like SmartZone, etc] on a license, but there's no "stand out" control channel, or any information I can determine. Can someone point me in the right direction please? License is here:

ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Trunked License - WQJX806 - AMPAC Fine Chemical Virginia, LLC - Frequencies Summary

-----------------

As RBMTS posted it is an analog LTR system. There is no one common control channel for a LTR system. Each frequency is a standalone repeater. I believe this company now occupies the facilities of the previously German owned chemical company "BI?" that operated in this "mini" industrial park for many years. I installed their large dish satellite tv system 20+ years ago. They made at least one federally controlled substance and subject to periodic on site inspections by the DEA. Possibly this company is manufacturing some of the same chemicals.

Using one of my R7000 analog receivers, I just heard three comms on 461.7500 mhz. When the comms finished the periodic brief repeater polling status transmissions for that frequency activated and were annoying to listen to. Conversely, a system frequency polling status transmission is a good indication that particular LTR frequency is active. Conversely, if no frequency polling status transmission, then it's not active.
