I did find a list on here for Sangamon county but for the life of me that list makes absolutely no sense to this JAP (Jewish American Princess) :)

I have a Radio Shack pro-94 scanner that my dad left me.

Any help or direction here would be appreciated.

Hi Christine. A J.A.P. in Springfield? LOL Who'd have thunk it! I live up north but perhaps I can help you find what you are looking for. What is it in Sangamon County is it you want to listen to? The Radio Shack PRO-94 isn't an analog trunking scanner. You will not be able to listen to STARCOM, the Ill. State Police Digital (P25) system with it. But it's still quite capable.

My ex-J.A.P. never liked scanners.. LOL a good reason why she is an ex... You can contact me directly if you'd like by using the Private Message option here.

Fortunately, GA
Looks like your scanner will do the conventional VHF/UHF frequencies, along with your city analog trunking system. There is an offer of help from someone near you. I would take it. Make sure that you have the manual for the 94. One thing the older trunk tracking scanners need is all the frequencies for the trunking system programmed. There are a couple of versions of the 94 that allow for different things for the scanner to do. Welcome to RR:)

Btw, I don't see the link for the PM messages either, so I'm probably either blind or it isn't there.....

Being a JAP I'll go with it ain't there :)
