SDRTrunk Trying to set up sdrtrunk

I'm trying to set up sdrtrunk today. I was watching a youtube to help me. I keep picking p25 phase 2 and p25 phase 1 shows up. What am I doing wrong?

I’m no expert, but maybe the control channel is telling sdrtrunk it’s actually a phase 1? Are you seeing the control channel active?

Welcome to the RR forums. The system may be Phase-II CAPABLE but contain FDMA talkgroups (mode "D" in the RRDB). Can't know for sure since you didn't give us system specifics

I've played around, if I select p25 phase 2 trunked phase one shows up. If I pick p25 phase 2 single channel that shows up as phase 2. I'm confused.

I'm trying to set up for the system in michigan, kalkaska co to be specific.

As I predicted in post #3, talkgroups in your county are Phase-I FDMA (mode "D") although the system is Phase-II/TDMA CAPABLE. You should be able to pick them up just fine with the programming as-is. You won't be able to switch the setting unless the county converts their talkgroups to TDMA (mode "T") & the change is submitted to the RRDB
