In addition to the two Pakenham frequencies listed above, the TAFL shows 456.3250 and 456.8750 under the same location and license number. I wanted to add them into under the same site and see if anything comes up.

Same thing for the Burnstown site. There is also more freq's for the Renfew MotoTrbo VHF system under Burnstown in the TAFL.
456 Mhz I believe are input frequencies.

Burnstown I think only has 2 frequencies. I haven't had any problems listening to. It's also one of my closest towers to listen to.

In the 450-470 band, repeater inputs offsets are +4.9875, +5.0000, or +5.0125 MHz (normally); same for 421-425MHz, and 410-414MHz.

In the 420-421MHz sub-band, offset is -11.0000MHz (409-410MHz).

As noted, skip over input frequencies.

So today, while out and about I was able to do some scanning and was able to do some on the following system. :)

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=8045&siteSort=county#sites

My findings.

Site 005 - Franktown - VAV670 - http://tafl.mckie.ca/?query=VAV670&prov=ON
LCN 1 is 422.2375 CC - 1
LCN 2 is 422.4125 CC - 1

I've submitted that to the database. Should I put the following in my programming as well? It's under the same license, but could be a different system I don't know -- 854.5875, 854.8375

---

Site 002 - Kanata - as per license CGS610 - TAFL Search Results

422.3125 LCN 2 CC - 2
422.6250 LCN 3 CC - 2

no hit on 423.6625 and nothing on the others here -- 452.8375, 461.5250, 462.1125

The RR Database shows
462.1125 LCN 1
452.8375 LCN 3
462.1125 LCN 5

The database shows Site 002 as The Heart Institute Building the licence says KANATA, ON (7307 CAMPEAU DR.). Which is it? Given I was in Arnprior mobile while recieving this. I'd like to say perhaps it's Kanata.

What do we have goin on here with site 002?

One last question. On systems like this, can different sites have different colour codes? Or should they be all the same for the system? It appears they can be different to me. I'm not sure though. Thought someone might be able to explain that part to me.

That's the best way to double check our systems.

I looked at Site 2's submission. It was from 2014. It was probably being tested back then. No Colour Codes were reported. Let's go with your confirmation.

I also discovered that there was an Ottawa submission by another member sitting un-owned for a week. I put those talkgroups in the database.

If anyone feels like they are waiting too long for a submission to be worked, contact me and I'll look into it. :)

Thanks for going ahead and updating the Kanata site, I wasn't sure on how to approach that one. I'll keep an eye on the other frequencies associated with it and a few others next time I'm within the area to receive the signals.

There could be more updates to this system, the beginning of this thread I listed the most recent frequencies and licence info that could be easily updated if there are folks within listening range of them throughout eastern ontario.

Yes different sites can have different color codes.

I have also seen situations where the site was originally licenced for 5 freqs but only 3 or 4 are in use. Often the site operator no longer is using the missing freq and IC or what ever name their using today is 'holding' the allocation open for future expansion. Thats why the unused freq is still in the TAFL data base.

The Franktown 854MHz frequencies are for a long-gone LTR system. Frequencies are not part
of the System 201, and inactive as far as I know (someone may want to double-check).

What I find:

452.8375 -> Site 11 (listed)
461.5250 -> Site 3
462.1125 -> Site 4

Sometimes frequencies don't match the sites in IC database. RR DB may be slightly off.

The fourth frequency is not in the DB

Running it now and it is tracking to the frequencies shown:

Con+, 201, 3, 7, 461.5250, 0.0, 0
--------------------------------------------------
201-4 is tracking correctly to the frequencies below.

The fourth frequency is not in the DB

You are welcome.
I have started listening site by site to confirm the correct tracking of frequencies in the DB.
-----------------------------
So for site 1, the frequencies are all correct but the LCN for the fourth frequency should be 07 instead of 9.
-----------------------------
Listening to Site 2 (Kanata) now.
It is tracking the following frequencies correctly:
Con+, 201, 2, 1, 423.6625, 0.0, 0
Con+, 201, 2, 3, 422.3125, 0.0, 0
Con+, 201, 2, 5, 422.6250, 0.0, 0
----------------------------
Site 7, Rockland is tracking the two frequencies in the DB correctly.
It never selects a third frequency, so it is likely a two frequency site.
----------------------------
Site 10 Kemptville is tracking the two frequencies in the DB correctly. No third frequency so far.

Confused here for a moment.

Site 3, you show 1,3,5,7 are those the LCN? The database and my programming I have the LCN as 1,2,3,4 What do I put in the radio?

Site 4 same thing. You have 1,3,5,7 database shows 1,2,3,4, I have 1,3,5,7 for programming.

Just getting confused all of a sudden between 1 2 3 4 and 1 3 5 7 etc...you get my jist. I just want to make sure I have them in my radio correctly.

The 1,3,5,7 are LSN

Code:
Site 3

Site Frequency Table

LCN	LSN	Frequency
01	[COLOR="Red"]1[/COLOR]	461.5875
01	2	461.5875
02	[COLOR="red"]3[/COLOR]	460.7875
02	4	460.7875
03	[COLOR="red"]5[/COLOR]	451.6875
03	6	451.6875
04	[COLOR="red"]7[/COLOR]	461.525
04	8	461.525

Click on each site on the Turris Page and this table will pop up. Enter the LCN in your scanner.

RE: Tafl shows Site 27 as 1408 Woodroffe which is somewhere around Algonquin College. Can anyone confirm?

Hello Mr. IdleMonitor,

Looking at Site 27 now.
The control frequency is 461.2875 it this time.
I don't know what other frequencies are associated with this site but will I will keep watching it.
This is not near me at all, so perhaps someone closer can help.

Mike

EDIT: There is a TG 3310343, that sounds like Security
