two psr800 questions

having a 800 I have two questions 1st one being on the light setting is there a way yo set it so it comes on only when some one keys up and second being how can I clear the scanlists either in the radio or with ez scan thanks for the help

1) I'm always on external, never battery, all lights stay on (my way, so not qualified to answer)

2) If "clear" means ending up with all scan lists completely empty, then:

EZScan
SCANLISTS (bottom tab)
select scan list in upper left box
use POS column to "highlight" all channels
"Left Click" anywhere in Scanlists column
(new working popup box appears)
click All Off tab
click Set tab
(my puter stalls here for a few seconds while working)
repeat for all scan lists that contain frequencies/data

All previous data now resides in the Unassigned Objects (special scan list)
Here, the objects can be deleted from the program completely
or, they can be redistributed to scan lists as desired

Even easier, if you want a completely new factory default configuration...

Select the File Menu, then New Configuration, then select the correct folder (CDAT by default). Confirm the overwrite and you'll be back to factory default on the computer. Then copy that to the scanner if you want the scanner at factory default.
