I would please like to know how to get two SDR's to work on one computer? If there is a post already can someone direct me to it, and if not does anyone know how it can be done?

Thank You

William

You need to change the serial number of one of the dongles.

This worked for me (on windows):

Depends on the kind of SDR. Talking about RTL-SDR compatible dongles, the solution of @Deziel0495 works fine, if the dongle has an internal EEPROM.
Other SDRs (e.g. Airspy HF+ Discovery) have own serial numbers.

Here is an example with four SDR -

SdrGlut uses 4 software defined radios to scan 5 different frequency ranges

I don't know if the Windows Airspy driver supports serial numbers, but I do know that the gr-osmosdr driver for Airspy under Linux silently does not, unlike it's support for RTL serials which works just fine.

Which software and brand/type of dongles are you using? If they're RTL-SDR dongles, then there's instructions on how to change the serial number as part of the OP25 Windows 10 Basic Setup Guide, p. 17, posted earlier.
