i eventually want this headset for my tyt md2017 but i don't know which mic connector to choose,,,

i want the unit with ptt button, then there are numerous mic connector options but i don't know which one matches the md-2017 speaker mic connector.

They have multiple kenwood, motorola, icom, vertex standard types to choose from.

Thanks

According to the seller's "XLT connector" chart, the M3 connector fits the TYT MD-2017. However, you may want to check with the seller first.

Would you consider a less expensive alternative? Heil Sound makes a lightweight, comfortable headset for handheld radios that comes in both single and double sided earphones and a variety of different connectors for different radios. No adapters needed, just buy the one that fits your radio. It's the Heil HTH and runs about $30.

I would consider the HTH but it appears they don't offer a connector that fits my tyt md-2017.

do you know if they will do custom connectors?
