UK BAND PLAN on the BCD325P2

Hey Guys

I have managed to buy the Uniden BCD325P2 but as its not a UK Specific model, I would like to know if anyone can help me with the UK Band Plan on it?

I *THINK* if I hold down 2 whilst powering on, that should be the correct one but please if anyone can give me a definitive answer it would be appreciated!

The 'hold down' trick only works for EU model scanners. You can edit the bandplan Menu > Settings > Band Defaults or software for example ARC XT software.

No, what he's looking for, I think, is to change the US version of a 325P2 to a Euro version. The frequency coverage is pretty different in the UK, and I don't think you can do that....besides the radio would likely need some retuning, too.

There aren't that many differences in coverage, just adjust the band defaults table in the scanner.
