I have recently come over to the uk and was wondering if i was to get a scanner what would i pick up i am in the north area of england .

Excellent place to waffle almost endlessly about wideband bird perches, computer virus warnings, whether or not you should sell your radio by any particular means, racist comments....and yes, occasionally some useful information too.

>Most< plod comms can't be monitored. Airborne ops can often still be monitored as can some of their video links. Each force also maintains some of it's old radio kit just in case the Airwave system falls over.
