Anyone up that way know if 154.745/82.5 is actually simulcasting 33.48???

I put it in my scanner and didn't hear anything, How ever I did hear it being simulcasted on 155.740.

154.745 is not a valid frequency, neither is 155.740. 154.740 or 154.7475 are valid, as are 155.7375 and 155.745.

In any case, there aren't even any VHF high frequencies on that KEH912 license, only low band, so that's clearly incorrect.

The only active license in Ulster that matches either frequency range is WPTX795 - Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad, a repeater on 154.740. I seriously doubt there are two repeaters being used in the same county just 5 kHz apart. There are no pending applications for either frequency range in Ulster either.

So if there is a simulcast on 155.745 (82.5 PL), then it's unlicensed. If either of you can figure out what the correct frequency and PL are, submit it and I'll make the correction.

PS - Since you guys are looking at the Ulster page in the DB, I didn't actually change any information, I just added a few subcategories to better organize the information. That's why everything is highlighted green.

I do not hear any Ulster County agency on 155.745. On 154.740 (82.5 PL) I do hear a simulcast of 155.22 the county EMS dispatch. This is not a simulcast of 33.48 fire paging.

The signal on 154.740 is very weak here in the northern part of Ulster. The signal is well centered on channel and probably is not a transmitter spur since 155.22 has a PL of 91.5. I think the retransmission of 155.22 is unintentional and the station is not located in Ulster County, perhaps not even in New York.

Garrison Ambulance, in Putnam, has a repeater on 155.235 (179.9). It simulcasts their dispatches on 155.205 (162.2) and is used for unit-to-unit traffic between pages. Perhaps Kerhonkson-Accord has set up a similiar system on 154.740 (82.5).
