Unication G5 on DaneCom

Trying get the G5 programmed & working for DaneCom, no luck yet.

The primary symptom is "out of range" alarm with the primary & 2 alternate control channels are programmed. I added all the system channels in as control channels, same problem. Firmware & pps are latest versions.

It is working fine on WISCOM with a few area VHF/800 sites that I've programmed & also working fine on the Wash. Co. P25 VHF simulcast TRS, both doing trunking TG scans.

Anybody on here have it working on DaneCom? I'm probably missing something simple.

Make sure you have the correct system info
WACN = 1
Sys ID = 130

Under Site list
130 - 130
or
FF - FF

If the page does not have this information it will not work.

Looks like I had the SysID/Site List dec & hex values transposed, I'll change it & see if that works.

YES, working now...2 counties over/inside a concrete building

I don't think the Unication G5 can do Phase II yet. DANECOM has some TDMA talkgroups. For these, you may have to wait until the new firmware is released.

That is correct right now, 99% of the traffic is Phase I still
