There is some very strong unidentified activity, likely school transportation related, on 155.28 MHz DCS 271. The only NJ or NY listings I see for this frequency are EMS related. Who else is hearing this, what is it, and should it be on this frequency?

Update: Maybe the Keelan Bus Company in Keansburg. There is an FCC license listed for this frequency with a 50 watt base station. Callsign WNLG718.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was an unlicensed school bus company. I have come across a number of unlicensed bus companies here in Morris County.

155.2800 is [PS] Special Emergency allocation by the FCC and is a valid allocation for Transportation [School Bus], VETS and other services in addition to being an EMS Channel.

Could a Field Trip from outside of your area, heck here in Boston we get the PQ tour bus's all the time using Canadian Frequencies
