Hi,
I've just bought my first 125XLT (UK version of the 125AT) and hit the SCAN button thinking I'd be able to stop it and go back manually going to whichever bank I wanted and finding the frequency I needed.

OH NO! It seems the only way you can stop it scanning is by hitting the HOLD button hoping it will stop on the bank you think you need and then scrolling through to find the frequency you want!

How on earth do you stop it scanning and go back to simply just selecting the bank you want and the channels you want?

HELP!!!

I downloaded the manual and I believe what your wanting is on page 43. The following text is from the manual.

MANUALLY SELECTING A CHANNEL
You can continuously monitor a single channel without
scanning. This is useful if you hear an emergency broadcast on a
channel or if you want to monitor a specific channel.

1. To manually select a channel, press Hold and enter the
channel number.
2. Press Hold again.

When in hold press the keyboard channel you want, say 125, then press HOLD key. You will now be on Channel 125 and you can scroll from there as you wish. You will have to do the maths if you want to go to Bank X.

Other method is to drop all the banks but the one you want from the Scan.

If at home / base operation then use Scan125. This will allow you to tune to any channel directly with a mouse button double click.

Great, thanks Nick.
I've used your programme to get into the device and at least understand what I have pre-programmed in their from RadioWorld.
There are some frequencies there I'll never use so excuse me if this is in your instructions but I couldn't see it.....how do I overwrite a frequency which is already there?
Many thanks for your help
