Uniden BC785D Programming

I have no way to connect my uniden bc785d to my computer. I need to program it by hand though. Ive been trying to program it all day and using specific talk groups such as LEIN and such but had no luck. I have the digital card installed and enabled too. Please help I am using the Livingston county frequencies as shown ( http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=100 . is this the information i am suppose to be looking at when programming my scanner? or is it this page http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=1273 ? Please help. I want specific as talk groups. Thaks

I don't believe the 785 or 250 can work with this system - it's marked as a APCO25 exclusive. If memory serves, the digital card could only handle 3600 baud systems. The BC296, BC796, BCD396 or BCD996 from Uniden can.

Besides if rebanding hits your area, that radio will not be supported.

Just to make sure there is no confusion, the APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive is not relative to the BC785D receiving signals on the MPSCS TRS. The System Type; however, is Project 25 Standard, and that will preclude the radio from working. There are Motorola systems in place that use P25 CAI Exclusive that the 785D will work fine with (e.g., South Dakota). The re-banding problem is a problem that will not go away. As a side note, the BC785D connects to a computer with a standard serial cable.
