Has it been made public where the Uniden repair facility is actually located? I know you ship the package to Roanoke, but that is just a logistics company that in turn forwards the repair to Uniden. Is it in Irving or elsewhere?

It's a business complex, multiple companies have offices there. The logistics company functions as the "mail room" for incoming packages for all of the facility occupants.

The location in Roanoke is just north of the Tarrant/Denton County border.
I dealt with a similar issue, when ordering parts for a large Cisco campus in California, when I was working for a computer services company. The third party logistics company accepted packages, then would forward them to the actual location where it was needed. Sometimes, things got 'lost in the shuffle', or were delayed one or more days before finally getting delivered.
