    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I sent my 536 out for repair approximately a month ago, but when I check the status it never updates only tells me they received it. The length of time isn't the problem, but I am going to be moving the end of January. How can I notify them when I do move, so they have the correct address? They don't have a phone number listed or how to contact them.

Secondly, I sent my dads scanner in for repair and according to UPS it was delivered on the 23rd. I checked with him today and he still hasn't received the SRO # or any acknowledgement they have received it. How can you check on that?

Any help would be grateful!
