Wondering if anyone can tell me what you have experienced for a turn-a-round time for a scanner repair. Sent mine in to Texas about two weeks ago and have not heard anything. Went on the Uniden web site. There is a link to check the status of a repair but when I submit the information I get an error message that says the site crashed. When I call the Uniden service number the phone will ring and then I get disconnected after two rings. Wondering what is going on down there.

It's my understanding turnaround time is 2-4 weeks. They don't communicate much, they just send it back when it's ready.

I went through a similar scenario as the OP and actually found through UnidenSupport here that the unit I sent was non-repairable. UnidenSupport was very helpful and I purchased my SDS100 via private messaging.

Well dang my SDS100 micro usb port is loose and im getting usb voltage warning all the time. I can gently push the micro usb cable back and it works but if it is forward (front to back of scanner. not up and down vertically) it wont work.
The front 2 feet have a cold solder joint and have come unsoldred from the board. but its a terrible place to try to fix it myself with the RF shield right on top. So off to uniden i guess.
hope their 2-4 week turn around time is better quicker now.

My 325P2 repair that went out in early January was back in two weeks. There's a Uniden Repair Delay thread here with several similar reports.

I called them to find out the status, which is the only way you can do it now. The Repair Status web page is no longer used and there is no on line way to track your repairs. I mentioned this on the other thread and Joe Bearcat is going to pass along my suggestion that they re establish that page. It would certainly save them a lot of phone calls.
