He said that when the SD card gets full of recordings it starts over and writes over the older stuff and records forever. Are that a new firmware in his scanner that haven't been announced yet?

His display indicate battery voltage with a one digit value and two decimals, and are just indicating dashes. Has he set the target to SDS100 or does the SDS200 display come with USB charge voltage configured?

He didn't like scanner dorks (just go somewhere else if you have valid comments or critics) that just mentions all the data from the box, and he continues by mention all the ports info and data that are on the box and in the user manual. He said nothing about the extra cost for DMR and NXDN or for a GPS or anything about the potential need to fiddle with filter settings to actually hear everything that are in the scan lists.

Finally, a review geared toward simple folk like me, the common clay of the New West. I was looking at purchasing an SDS200, but found the $700 price a bit more than I was ready to fork over. Instead, over the past 2 months, I have purchased a BC355N analog device, a BCD536HP, and two (2) BCD996P2 devices. But, I saved spending that $700.
