SDS100/SDS200: Uniden SDS100 Car Lighter Charger

Can someone tell me where and which place to look for a car lighter charger for the SDS100?

I don't think there is one I've seen that puts out enough juice for the 100.

Get a lighter socket USB with at least 2A output - there are many out there.
Then... get any AWG24 USB mini cord. Amazon has them

I did purchase the extra battery just incase it’s on the road with me.

I have an Anker 3A that I've used for several years. That's enough to run the 100 and charge my phone, too.

It outputs 3.4 amps, like the one KK4JUG mentioned, so it could both power & charge your SDS100. It has a 6ft cable, with a left-angle USB-mini connector, so no separate cable needed. It also has two additional USB ports for either another scanner, or your cellphone. I use mine to power both my SDS100 as well as a 436HP.

If you have the charge while using setting on, yes. A suitable charger will do that.

The adapter I linked powers my SDS100 with enough current to both scan and charge at the same time, as well as power my 436HP.

Before I got my SDS200, I frequently made trips from Georgia to Michigan with the 100. It has Jon's GPS modification and the battery stayed charged throughout the entire trip with just the single power source from the cigarette lighter plug.
