• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Is anyone willing to provide info on Unified Fire Authority. I am looking for what kind of apparatus and unit numbering is used for each station. I realize the obvious "Engine 112 is at Station 112." I am looking for more specific info like what kind of apparatus is stationed at each station including Engines, Ladder/Trucks, Battalion Chiefs and Aid/Medic/Rescue.

Thanks

This has been mentioned before. We never have really gotten around to doing it yet. It is on of the items we really would like to add to the 'map project'

This weekend I will try to get a list of at least the specialty units. Anyone else that may have more details please drop it in. we have had this request a couple times and its something we should get
