It may just be fan-fold paper for use in a dot matrix printer if they're printing multiple copies at one time. Just a guess,

Because they call it Telex paper doesn't mean that's what it is. For instance, your "Xerox machine" may actually be a Canon or something else. There's probably a 50-50 chance the tissue you use is a KIeenex. How 'bout "Band-Aids?"

Delta Air Lines too. They use the dot-matrix printers to print flight releases to the pilots and cabin-closeout paperwork for the flight attendants. I would certainly wager that they have other uses for it.

Ahhh the Oki Microline, a staple of NCIC/COLLECT terminals, alarm reporting, records lookups and logging stations everywhere!

Yeah, the out-dated old fashioned and noisy dot matrix printer will probably be around for a long time.

...as long as you can source the ribbon cartridges. You can re-ink them nearly for ever, until the tape starts to shred.

I know a plumber who uses a dot matrix printer for his multi-copy invoices. He stocked up on the ribbons knowing they might be in short supply later.
