From searching I know this topic comes up often, but i'm stuck. I've managed to install Unitrunker on Linux via WINE, but when trying to run the software I get the winusb.dll is missing error.

I installed winusb.dll from my Win10 PC into WINE's windows/system32 folder, but I continue to get the same error. I also tried the dll from here with the same result https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/winusb_dll.html.

This must be possible to do, i've seen someone on YouTube run Unitrunker on his MAC without trouble. So Linux should be the same.

Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem in the past but Unitrunker 1.0.32.7 and 1.0.33.6 run fine on WINE 2.1 or later.
What version of WINE are you using?
What Linux distro? I don't know if the Linux distro makes any difference.
Are you trying to control a USB SDR dongle? I don't have one so I don't know if that works.

See this post I made a while back
https://forums.radioreference.com/v...ftware/347786-unitrunker-woking-wine-now.html

Currently I am running Unitrunker 1.0.33.6 on Lubuntu 17.04 and WINE 2.10 and only use it for decoding discriminator audio. WINE and Unitrunker are set to use Pulseaudio. Everything works just like it did on Windows XP and 7 except some of Unitrunker's toolbar buttons and icons don't display properly.

Switching to Lubuntu 17.10 fully updating and upgrading and installing "wine-stable" solved a myriad of problems for me
