$299.00 and expected Jan 28.

UniWave Di-Wave 100 DRM Radio Receiver

Note: A strong DRM frequency here in North America is RCI 9800 kHz Sackville. It provides a solid DRM signal even during the day.

The signal was not that strong from my HQ?

Too many possibilities as to why 9800 wasn't coming in well at your home. Poor propagation, antenna, beam heading away from you, etc. 73 Mike

I got to try out this radio, I did not like it - there is no tuning dial - shortwave reception was poor - no SSB - the whole felt cheap to me. This is just my opinion. Would probably be ok if there were more DRM stations here.

True.

Its been several years since experimenting with DRM on my Ten-Tec RX-20. At that time I thought it was well known that the DRM signal from Sackville was weak and if you could receive it from anywhere but the East Coast you were lucky?

So what has changed? Have they increased the TX power? Can West Coasters now receive the signal?

There are several DRM stations on during the day. I ran across 3 or 4 just on 15/17 mhz.

Try around noon-time and you'll likely find several.

Whether or not they can be decoded is another story! :)
