shawn are you certain it was that frequency .... the SO does frequently use 460.375 and 465.375 for car/ car and the fairfield hocking crime unit uses those 2 frequencies / channels for work in the cities and the county ..... having programmed radios for the county i'm unaware of osp using uhf to talk to any county unit they typically use leern . however at the sheriffs office the new consules can cross patch from marcs to fire / sheriff system with approval of the duty officer or incident commander . pickerington, sheriff office and city of lancaster all use the exact same consule that was purchased and installed within the last year and a half . reason for that was any 3 of the dispatching centers in a crisis situation could dispatch any agency in the county if the other 2 were offline ..

100 % it is 460.0375

also for fairfield county to save money they should make a city/ county dispatch center insted of city and county dispatch centers. just a though

I heard some activity on the frequency this evening. It is a patch to either LEERN or 155.370 (probably LEERN). I was unable to monitor those VHF frequencies at the same time to figure out which one, but it is most certainly a patch to a mutual aid frequency. I heard a CW ID from it, but since I'm just a no-coder I don't know what the call-letters were. I also didn't think to turn on the CTCSS search

check out my post on scancolumbus yahoo groups. been hearing this for several years when in the columbus area. sounds like it is linked with leern. i can hear it in downtown columbus and 161 area of columbus.

I am way up north of Dublin-land in Union County.

I have a tri-band ham antenna up about 40ft, and I can hear the station OK (but with a good deal of noise).
