Hey guys I need a little help with this one I have been running pro96com and I let it go while scanning and under Unknown Packets this is what came up. What is this info and what do you do with it? I put back slashes were the column would be separated and the front slashes are to show a space were there is a space the Forum just crunched it all together.

Time \ Op \ Packet Data
09/10 12:02:05 \ 23 \ 23/ 09/ 00/ 01/ 8C/ 1B/ 80/ 00/ 00/ 00/ E7/ DE

You might want to re-post this over in the `Trunking Control Channel Decoding' and possibly also the `Scanner Programming Software' forums in this order, too?

Just an `Olde Fart's' 2¢ worth? {WAN GRIN!}

Generally when those unknown packets show up, they are vendor specific messages. The opcode (function ID or the message) on that one is 23 and the manufacturer's ID is 09, which means it's a vendor specific packet (are you sure it's not 90 instead? What system is this from?). Everything else up to E7 DE is the payload of the packet, and E7 DE is the TSBK CRC. These vendor specific messages are not publicly documented, so the program author displays them in case someone can correlate those packets with a specific feature or event to identify their use.

That's okay....I believe you. What site did you see this come off of? MFID 09 is Aselsan, Inc., which is weird to see. I wonder who is running Turkish radio equipment on DTRS? :)
