My hardware is a MLA 30+ active loop antenna connected to to my SDRPlay RSP1a wideband (R)adio (S)pectrum (P)rocessor. I am using FLDigi to decode morse code.

In the video I tried to Google search for information on what it could be. It was a plethora of mixed results between "numbers" stations and the French Military. I tried in the video to find a pattern in the groups of letters but there is no consistent pattern. I want to lean toward it being the French Military but that may not be right. The letter groups aren't in the French language. It looks like some sort of encryption method. If anyone can link a reputable source that is NOT a social group (groups.io, facebook, google groups, etc) I appreciate it. I am looking for a public database with recent logs of verifiable information.

i know you excluded groups.io, but you shouldn't. The Utility DXers Forum is there and is a premier source of information on stuff like this. They have logs that are kept daily and can be downloaded monthly in a text file format. There's also a Reddit group (linked below) that looks at stuff like this

Groups.io is very much not like Yahoo or google groups. The UDXF group is pretty well moderated, and very little spam ever gets through here

[edit] A very quick search of the online UDXF logs has many ref's to 6825....

The URL of the group is

The reason you get a mix of "numbers" and "French mil" hits for this frequency, and Morse code, is because yes, it sort of is.

You will also see this same traffic on 3881 kHz.

More specifically, this signal, when first observed, was originally thought to, maybe, be a numbers transmission, and was assigned the ENIGMA ID M51, consistent with a Morse code numbers station. The 5 character code groups kind of lean in that direction. Later the ID of FAV22 was observed. And so you will find information about this signal when searching both "M51" and "FAV22" (M51a).

The general consensus is that this might be a French mil Morse code training net. The signal has been RFDFed to be sourced out of France, possibly Mont-Valerien, Paris.

As for "verifiable information", I am not sure what you mean by that. There are lots of loggings of this signal on this frequency, it is there every day. However if you are looking for something "official" as to its source, good luck. As with most of these signals, the possibility you will get anything official related to it is next to nothing.

Some data can be found here:
