Very nice set up, what is the holder you are using for your handheld scanner? Is it designed for the cup holder? Looks like something I might want to use in my truck.

It is made by Berkley. I think I found it at Best Buy.

It comes as a kit with a couple of different sized cups to fit into the holder.

It is really designed for Handheld devices, Phones, Ipods and GPS units.

It is a Centurion 1/4 wave. I use them on my Pro 96 and 95.

They work better for me than the RS800.

I listen to 800 Mhz most of the time.
I use 2 antennas, a Antennex low profile (can shaped) and a maxrad 1/4 wave both in black.

These work extremly well and look great because of the low profiles. I do not want it to look like a porkyPine.

I am getting ready to drill the NMO holes to mount them permantly to the roof of my cab.

For the CB I have not yet decided what to go with permently. I like the Wilson 1000 but may go with the Maxrad low band and mount it off of the bed rail behind the cab.

As soon as it quits snowing in Colorado, I will get this done and send pics.

You did a great job, looks professional. Very neat and clean. I have 2 questions.

1. What model is the Centurion 1/4 wave?

2. Do you have any additional info about the Berkly from Best Buy like a model number or anyrhing?

Thanks
Dan

The Centurion model # is EXC806BNX. This antenna works terrific with my 96 monitoring the APCO25 as well as my PRO95 with EDACS. It is about 3 1/2" tall.

And I can not beleive it , I found my original packaging for the my hand held holder.
It is made by Belkin and all it says is Pro Series also has OmniDock-L.

It is designed for PDA's, Phones, MP3 players. I found that turning this unit up side down works perfect for the handhelds because the clip on the back of the scanner fits perfectly over the top edge to hold the top secure and then the sides are on a rachet system and they clamp snugly to the sides of the scanner. Try this web address.
