345.000 Operations Primary AM Mode
237.900 Operations Secondary AM Mode
326.150 Air-to-Ground Primary AM Mode
379.050 Air-to-Ground Secondary AM Mode

They all say set to am mode I am useing a pro 2006 for this when I set it. It wants to go to nfm mode. I can set mode to am but it blinks I was wondering what and where I should set the mode to, and get the blinking on the am to go away. Or I might be doing this all wrong to begin with maybe the nfm is where it's supposed to set on this scanner. Anyone that might be able to help with an answer for me I would appriceate that.
Thanks in advance

Enter your frequency, the default will be nfm, using the "mode" key toggle the mode to "am" then press enter. it should save it as an AM frequency.

AM mode is the proper mode for Milair freqs. 345.000 Detroit Air is going to be the most active freq. You will probably sometimes pick up airliners on 237.900 that is an image of 118.950 Detroit Metro approach. I don't think I've heard the Coast Guard use the 237.9 freq yet.

Also put 136.375 AM mode MOTOWN Ops for Customs & Border Patrol (CBP). 350.025 AM mode HAMMER Ops / BLUE 3, (CBP).

123.025 Helo A/A, TV News chopper REDBIRD (CH 2,4,7), N36CC was Fox2 N102FX. EUROCOPTER AS 350 B2. N2BQ traffic helo, & MSP Trooper 2 calling DPD base / City Airport. State Police helo's, N111SP MSP Bell 206 Jet Ranger. N430ST MSP Bell 430.

I have a Pro-2006 or it's a 2005 can't remember but your radio is doing correct. The am will not stop blinking. Mine all blink and still the frequency reads it just fine. You are good to go.

Note that as a practical matter, all CG air ops are carried either (a) on 16 or 21A FM, if the unit is close to the station that has its "guard" at the moment, or (b) on HF, primarily 5696 KHz.

Much more is begining to appear on the VHF and UHF LMR channels, with the enhancements made from Rescue 21

Not here in New England yet, but south of us, down to the Cuban waterways :)
