AmSat UK and Libre Space are sending up the red flag regarding AST BlueBird Satellites operating in the 430-440 MHz range. Already five of these satellites have just started operation and are broadcasting telemetry. They are planning to launch a further 243 satellites also using 430-440 MHz and in February submitted a request to the FCC Space Bureau for use of the amateur band worldwide

Amateur radio is a secondary allocation on this band. While I fully support people sending in comments to the FCC, it's important that hams understand the rules we operate under.

No its not. I have a lot of $$ invested in my 70cm stuff and ICBMs can take a back seat. Don't make me call Vladimir or Kim Jong. I'll do it....
