Can anyone bring me up to speed on Industry Canada regulations on use of DMR digital transmissions over two meter repeaters ?.

As far as I know, there are no regulations dealing with DMR on 2 meters.
The only rule is that from 144 to 148 Mhz, the bandwidth shall not exceed 30 Khz. They don't care about modes.

Next question ...will a repeater pass DMR signals ?
The repeater has to be capable of handling DMR in order for it to pass it.
Some repeaters will operate in dual mode. If a person TX in analog it will pass analog, if they TX in DMR, it will pass DMR.
But a normal analog only repeater will not pass DMR.

If it is a DMR Repeater
Has the Owner/Trustee upgraded/converted the Repeater to be
DMR or P25 ??

If it's a DMR repeater, yes. If not, no. Here's a link to a group in Toronto that has DMR and Yaesu System Fusion repeaters working: VA3XPR - Toronto's Digital Ham Radio Repeater Connection They have pages and info on both protocols on the website. Their DMR is on a very tall building so I bet you could access it from Belleville.
