With the upcoming demise of Prime Time SW (as mentioned in another thread), it might be a good time to review where one can get up to date schedule information as well as DX tips. Keep in mind that the next broadcast season starts at the end of October, so we can expect a lot of changes as that date approaches.

Here are a few that I know of and where they can be found. Email lists are usually a lot faster than electronic print such as Spectrum Monitor.

  • World of Radio (groups.io)- One of many groups either run by/used by veteran author and DXer Glenn Hauser. Radio Programming, DX Tips and schedules can appear here
  • DXLD (DX Listening Digest) (Yahoo groups)- This is another place where schedules often appear, and this list also lists many DX tips. The WoR and DXLD lists often mirror one another when the news gets heavy.
  • UDXF (groups.io)-No doubt about it, this is the premier place to be for HF Utilities, both digital and voice

Of course there are the various sites for EiBi, Aoki, the NASWA Master list and others, but it usually takes someone some time to get the data inserted.

Additions are welcome. Mike

Dan Ferguson's "swskeds@groups.io" is updated almost daily - sometimes even twice.

I still like "EiBi View" though and if I insert all the EiBi csv list into "StationList"
....JB's Dx Info....
I can control my WinRadio G33DDC directly from the list, or vice versa, it will take the frequency from the radio and display the station name. Much easier than the confusing WinRadio method.

I haven't looked at this in a while, but I think Dan also produces an unload that can be used by Perseus SDR owners - for those that have this unit.

The Perseus file can also be used by SDRuno for its internal listing function. The ,csv file feeds SDR Console V2.3 and the spreadsheet is just nice to keep opened in the background.

er..not a mailing list or facebook page. But these sites depend on someone physically doing the updates to their site. Mailing lists are much faster, as the schedules are posted within a few days of their release when folks notice them
